Join us in the Bahamas!
Hello! We are so excited to celebrate with you, our closest people, in our favorite place - the Abacos in the Bahamas! You each mean so much to us and we are so thankful for the impact you make in our lives. We have planned a few fun-packed days on Elbow Cay and you are invited to everything!
We'd love for you to arrive Thursday or Friday and stay through Sunday, as your schedule permits. We have thoughtfully put together an itinerary that will allow us to share some of our favorite island spots with you during your trip! You can always extend your trip if you would like to stay longer.
All of the information that you will need to plan your trip is within this website. Please reach out to us with any questions - we want to help you while planning as much as possible. We hope you can join us!

Wedding Week Itinerary
Thursday

Arrival
Most will be arriving on either the Delta flight at 12:16pm or the American Airlines flights at 11:29 am or 4:04 pm
As you exit the airport there will be taxis lined up. Grab one and head to the ferry dock for Hopetown. You will need some cash (US currency is accepted everywhere).
We will likely have a private ferry arranged for each of the arrival groups (depending on numbers). If there is not a private ferry, you will simply buy a ticket to Hopetown.
The private ferry will take you to Sea Spray Marina on Elbow Cay. The scheduled ferry for smaller groups will go to Hopetown Harbour. Ask to get off at the last stop - the "Lodge dock."
We will arrange a shuttle to your hotel/house.
Once at Sea Spray Marina, your golf carts will be available for pickup in the parking lot. From there you can go to your house and get settled.
The Welcome Party will be at Sea Spray Marina at 6:00 pm. There will be plenty of food and an open bar.
Attire is Island Cocktail: we suggest wearing casual sundresses for the ladies, and a collared shirt + shorts for the guys. Flip Flops are recommended as the ground around Sea Spray Marina is sandy.
Friday

We have 4 large center console boats going to Pete's Pub for lunch at 11:30 pm. Boats will depart from Seaspray Marina. The ride is about 15-20 minutes
People are more than welcome to skip the boat day and hang out on Elbow Cay. For those staying behind, there are plenty of options for lunch - Abaco Inn, On Da Beach, and Sea Spray Marina are all excellent. You can also take your golf carts down to Tahiti Beach to hang out on the water. Attire is bathing suit and coverup.
After lunch the boats will come back to Tahiti Beach for a sandbar afternoon.
The Rehearsal Dinner will be held at the Abaco Inn at 6:00 PM. All are welcome!
Attire is Island Cocktail: we suggest wearing dressier sundresses for the ladies, and a collared shirt / button down + khaki / linen pants for the guys.

Everyone is free to explore the island during the day.
The Wedding Ceremony will begin at 4:30PM at Firefly Sunset Resort.
- Please arrive early!
Attire is Island Dressy: we suggest wearing more of a formal sundress for the ladies, and a button down + khaki / linen pants for the guys.
Cocktail Hour is at 5:00PM at on the deck at Firefly Sunset Resort with the Reception to follow at 6:00PM.
Sunday

If you are leaving this day, we have coordinated a ferry to take you from Sea Spray Marina to the Ferry Dock on Marsh Harbour. Taxis will be waiting to take you to the airport.

For those of you who are staying until Monday we have an optional boat day to Scotland Lagoon and Nipper’s and Grabbers!
Please meet at Sea Spray Marina at 11 am.

The boats will spend a few hours at Sandbar called Scotland Lagoon. Then we will head to Grabbers for lunch and the infamous Nippers Beach Bar.

Plan Your Trip

Flights
The only way to get to Elbow Cay is to fly into Marsh Harbour (MHH). The airport is serviced by American & Delta.
Taxi's are regularly available from the airport to the ferry dock (please bring cash to pay for taxi's.)
Ferry's run regularly from Marsh Harbour to Elbow Cay. We suggest checking the ferry schedule to coordinate timing. They have private ferry options if that is something you're interested in.

Where to Stay
There are plenty of options on the island. Elbow Cay Properties is a local rental agency. Most of these rental houses have a 4-5 night minimum. VRBO and Airbnb are also options.
If you are looking for a shorter stay, 2-3 nights, Turtle Hill would be a good option for you.
